Warm the milk until lukewarm (not hot).
Mix milk, yeast, and honey. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
Add butter, egg, salt, and half of the flour. Mix well.
Gradually add remaining flour to form a soft dough.
Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
Punch down dough and roll out to ½ inch thickness.
Cut into squares and place on greased baking sheets.
Cover and let rise again for 30–40 minutes.
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden brown.
Brush warm rolls with melted butter.
Mix butter, powdered sugar, honey, and cinnamon until smooth.
Serve with warm rolls.
