Method
 

  1. Warm the milk until lukewarm (not hot).

  2. Mix milk, yeast, and honey. Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.

  3. Add butter, egg, salt, and half of the flour. Mix well.

  4. Gradually add remaining flour to form a soft dough.

  5. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  6. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
